Last Friday, our primary classes faced a challenge at the MedCup soccer tournament, an event held in Verona that brings together international schools from across the world for a weekend of sport and fun. Our students gave it their all! The competition was fierce; the teams were well-prepared, but our school was ready to meet the challenge.
After 90 intense minutes filled with relentless running and strategic play, our girls secured first place! Our educators, Francesca Nosadini, Lynda Bellinaso, Richard Turner together with our Head of School Caterina Pattanaro shared this victory and celebrated together with our students.
Beyond the excitement of the matches, the MedCup tournament was a valuable experience that fostered friendship and cultural exchange. Our students returned with not only a trophy but also memories and new friendships. This event underscored the importance of sports in education, highlighting how it can bring people together, teach valuable life lessons, and create unforgettable experiences.
