Expressive Reading Workshop 706 500 School Office ROSA

In an inspiring initiative to deepen students’ love for literature, secondary school students recently participated in a series of engaging workshops led by Fabio Dalla Zuanna, a seasoned theater expert and valued cultural figure. Spearheaded by Italian teachers Prof. Boarato and Prof. Grigoletto, the “More Reading at School” project invited students across different grades to dive into the fascinating worlds of literature and drama. This enriching program was designed to enhance students’ interest in narrative texts, build empathy, and develop interpretive skills that transcend the classroom.

The “More Reading at School” project aimed to foster students’ literary appreciation and hone their expressive abilities by intertwining the academic curriculum with themes from VenetoLegge, an initiative promoting literature in the Veneto region. Students explored themes that were not only educational but also emotionally engaging, helping them connect deeply with characters, settings, and ideas from Italian literature.

Through the “More Reading at School” project, students found a powerful way to release emotions, experiment with fictional personas, and boost their diction and expressive fluency. Dalla Zuanna’s expertise in theater and passion for storytelling made each session an immersive experience that left students feeling inspired, energized, and more connected to literature.

The success of this project underlines the importance of blending education with creative expression, and the school extends its thanks to Prof. Boarato, Prof. Grigoletto, and Fabio Dalla Zuanna for bringing this enriching experience to life.
