Dear Parents,
As the year comes to a close, we pause to reflect on the remarkable journey our community has taken together over the past semester. At H-FARM International School Rosà, every day is a testament to the power of education to shape not only minds but also futures.
This year, our mission of empowering students to transform innovation into human progress for a better society has come alive in so many inspiring ways. Your children—our students—have embraced challenges, seized opportunities, and grown into compassionate leaders and innovative thinkers.
Our vibrant community continues to thrive, now counting 192 students from 11 different countries and 45 dedicated staff members from 7 different nations. This incredible diversity enriches every classroom discussion, every project, and every connection, preparing students to succeed in an ever-evolving global landscape.
Here are just a few highlights from this semester:
- 21 immersive educational trips that brought learning to life, from exploring the stunning Lake Corlo and mastering the art of gelato-making to stepping back in time on an Archaeological Adventure at Livelet.
- 10 school events where students and parents came together to celebrate, collaborate, and connect, fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose.
- Over 90 hours of extracurricular activities, with 50 students discovering and nurturing their passions across Arts and Crafts, Study Method, Soccer and Robotics.
- We became an Apple Distinguished School, providing our students with a globally recognized curriculum that fosters academic excellence and critical thinking skills.
- The project Design for Someone earned us first place at the Cambridge Preparation Awards 2024, showcasing our students’ creativity, empathy, and problem-solving skills through innovative and impactful design solutions.
- More than 60 science experiments to explore the world around us, from learning how chemicals react with each other, to creating lava lamps with simple materials
- 3 Science and Digital Saturday, where students had the opportunity to put into practice their knowledge and skills through engaging projects and interactive demonstrations in science, technology, and digital innovation.
- More than 5 community projects centered on inclusivity and women’s rights, encouraging participants to step into others’ shoes, understand diverse perspectives, especially the challenges faced by women, and promote gender equality and empowerment within the community.
- More than 30 hours of School Orientation incorporating collaboration with parents, mentoring, and personalized advising to guide students in confidently navigating their future educational choices.
- More than 10 school sports events and tournaments, to develop teamwork, discipline, resilience, and a spirit of healthy competition, while also enhancing physical fitness and overall well-being.
Our approach to education is deeply rooted in the Six Dimensions of Student Success, which are a fundamental part of the H-FARM Approach. These pillars—learning success, emotional well-being, social growth, community involvement, language proficiency, and future-readiness—shape every aspect of our students’ educational journey. By fostering academic excellence, emotional resilience, meaningful relationships, cultural understanding, and an entrepreneurial mindset, we want to empower students to navigate and contribute to a rapidly changing world with confidence and purpose, equipping them with the skills and mindset needed for future success.
