Guided by our teacher Elisa, students enhance their Italian language skills by immersing themselves in authentic recipes, decoding ingredient lists, and following step-by-step cooking instructions.
This interdisciplinary approach bridges language, culture, and even elements of science and math, as students measure ingredients and follow precise sequences. Students develop communication skills, teamwork, and cultural awareness while preparing classic Italian dishes, from traditional pastries to homemade biscuits. The kitchen becomes a dynamic learning space, reinforcing vocabulary and comprehension through sensory experiences: touching, tasting, and creating.
