On Thursday, January 23rd, H-FARM International School Rosà hosted an IB Night in collaboration with H-FARM International School Vicenza. The event provided parents and Lower Secondary students with a detailed overview of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and its role in preparing students for academic and professional success.

Former students who transitioned from Rosà to Vicenza and pursued the IB program shared their personal experiences. Their stories highlighted how the IB curriculum helped them develop essential skills and achieve their goals in academics and beyond. Vicenza’s Career Counsellor, Mr. Pettinato, spoke about the guidance students receive to prepare for university applications and career opportunities both in Italy and internationally. His insights offered valuable information for families considering the IB program as a pathway to future success.

Parents and students participated in mock lessons and interactive workstations designed to showcase the IB’s teaching approach. These activities provided a clear example of how the program fosters critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. The evening concluded with an open forum for parents to meet with teachers, the Head of Programme, and school leaders. This was an opportunity to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of how the IB program supports students’ development.

The IB Night in Rosà was a practical and informative event for families exploring the next steps in their educational journey. By providing a comprehensive look at the International Baccalaureate, the event underscored its potential to equip students with the tools they need for a successful future.
