On October 16, 2024, Lower Secondary 3 students had the opportunity to visit H-FARM International School Vicenza as part of the school’s orientation project. The trip was designed to introduce students to the IB Diploma Programme and offer a glimpse into the international academic environment that could shape their future education.
The day began with an early start as the students gathered at our school in Rosà. By 9:00 AM, they were on their way to Vicenza, accompanied by Mrs. Grigoletto, the school’s orientation coordinator, and Mrs. Lucato, the Secondary School Coordinator. Upon arrival, students were welcomed by the school staff and given an overview of the Diploma Programme. This program, internationally recognized for its academic rigor, is seen as an excellent bridge for students preparing to continue their studies on a global scale. Students were introduced to the different academic options available and shown how the program fits into their broader educational journey.
One of the highlights of the day was a guided tour of the school. Students had the chance to visit classrooms, labs, and learning spaces, observing how modern and interactive teaching methods are employed. They participated in a few sample lessons, giving them a firsthand experience of the school’s educational approach. Throughout the visit, students asked thoughtful questions about the curriculum, extracurricular opportunities, and student life. The visit allowed them to see how the IB Diploma Programme could be an ideal continuation of their current studies at our school in Rosà.
By 12:45 PM, it was time to say goodbye. The students boarded the bus back to the school, filled with new insights and ideas about their educational futures. The experience not only broadened their understanding of international education but also inspired many to consider the IB Diploma Programme as a pathway for their own academic and personal growth.
The day was a success, marking another step in H-FARM International School Rosà commitment to providing its students with opportunities that expand their horizons and prepare them for a globalized world.
