What an amazing afternoon at H-FARM International School Rosà! Our Primary 4 students participated in the World Culture workshop, an event dedicated to discovering other countries’ cultures, history, and curiosities. For this occasion, students divided into groups and studied a different country, from Egypt to China, exploring Brazil and Argentina.
This project has been a true interdisciplinary effort, blending work from various subjects. In English and Italian, students developed their speaking and writing skills, collaborating impressively within their groups to prepare oral presentations to be discussed with parent on that day. In Art, they created stunning pieces using mark-making and watercolour techniques learned with their teacher, Kate. Meanwhile, the integration of Technology and Digital Tools such as Cospaces brought an exciting dimension to the project. Students not only crafted physical display boards but also developed immersive virtual reality presentations using CoSpaces during their lessons with Ruggero, which were showcased using VR headsets.
The culmination of this hard work was celebrated during our ‘World Culture Day’ on Friday, 29th November, where families were invited to experience the students’ creativity and learning firsthand. It was a joyous occasion, highlighting the incredible effort, cooperation, and enthusiasm of our Year 4 students in bringing the richness of world cultures to life.
